What it is

A private newsletter for a handful of friends. Through the week you write entries — a photograph and a few lines each — and choose which of your groups sees each one. On Monday morning every newsletter goes out at once.

Why you cannot read without writing

A group’s issue opens to you once you have sent something to that group. It is not a punishment; it is the thing that stops one person doing all the writing while everyone else reads. If you miss Monday morning you have until midnight that day to still get in.

Common questions

Every entry needs a photograph. That is deliberate. A picture is what makes it a letter rather than a status update.

Can I edit something after it has gone out? No. You can remove it, but not change it.

How do I join a group? Someone in it sends you a link. There is no search and no directory.

Who can see my entries? Only the groups you tick on that entry. Nothing is public, ever.
