Mondays

What is collected

Signing in is through Apple and nothing else, so there is no password here to lose. Apple passes on your name and an email address — or a private relay address, if you choose to hide yours, which works just as well. Then the entries you write and the photographs you attach to them.

Who can see it

Your entries are visible only to the groups you select on each entry, and only to members of those groups who have published into the same issue. Photographs are stored privately and served through links that expire; there is no public address for any of them.

Advertising

Mondays shows an advert or two in the index of an issue, between people’s cards. They are labelled, and they never appear inside somebody’s newsletter, so nothing you write ever sits next to a purchase.

They come from Google AdMob, and they are non‑personalised: Mondays asks Google not to use any profile of you to choose them. To deliver one at all, Google receives your device’s IP address, an identifier used to limit how often the same advert is shown, and whether an advert was seen or tapped. Google describes what it does with that at business.safety.google/privacy.

Mondays does not use Apple’s advertising identifier and never asks to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Nothing you write, no photograph, no group and no name is ever sent to an advertiser.

In the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and Switzerland, adverts are Google’s “limited ads”: no identifier is used and nothing is stored on your device to serve them, so there is nothing to consent to and no consent form is shown.

What is not done with it

Nothing you write is sold or shared with anyone. There is no third‑party analytics, and nothing follows you across other apps or websites.

Deleting it

Removing an entry removes it for everyone. To delete your account and everything in it, email hello@stryin.com and it will be done.
